B13: 12,5kg BUTANE gas cylinder

This gas cylinder holds 13kg of butane. Its empty weight (tare) is between 14 and 15kg.

This is the most common gas cylinder for domestic use, both for the production of hot water (gas water heaters) and for cooking (ovens, hobs or gas vitroceramic hobs) and heaters (gas stoves, fireplaces and gas wall heaters).

They can also be used for fridges, barbecues, patio heaters, as well as bi-thermal washing machines and dryers (that have two taps, one with cold water and the other with hot water from a water heater).

The gas cylinder valve has a protective covering designed to protect it and avoid the deposit of foreign matter that might affect the correct functioning of the valve.

The gas cylinders are marked with their tare, the year of the next regular inspection and a label or stamp that indicates the characteristics of the contents and the R/S safety phrases, as well as DISA's address and customer service telephone number.

11kg PROPANE gas cylinder

This gas cylinder holds 11kg of propane. Its empty weight (tare) is between 14 and 15kg.

It can also be used for domestic purposes if placed outside the home, with the same applications as the 13kg butane gas cylinder, although it is designed for light industrial use such as welding, plumbing, the application of asphalt roofing felt for waterproofing, etc.

It is different in appearance to the 13kg butane gas cylinder because of the horizontal red strip that appears on the cylinder, as well as the inscription of the word PROPANE in the centre.

The gas cylinder valve has a protective covering designed to protect it and avoid the deposit of foreign matter that might affect the correct functioning of the valve.

The gas cylinders are marked with their tare, the year of the next regular check and a label or stamp that indicates the characteristics of the contents and the R/S safety phrases, as well as DISA's address and customer service telephone number.
